In order to facilitate the teaching of speaking and listening skills, teachers need to continually find engaging and interactive methods to trigger students’ interest and motivation. Through the use of videos, teachers are able to integrate and customize their tasks based on students’ needs and learning styles.

Video based instruction, hosted on Wordpress, allows classrooms to go organic and ‘live’ with a click of a button. After input from the blog videos, students are assigned to create their own digital stories based on communication themes introduced to them. These in return are shared by them on a common blog platform as contributors to a wider range of audience.
